About
Hi, I'm Anhphong, an indie developer focused on building minimal, useful utilities for macOS.
I believe software should do one thing well. My apps are designed to be lightweight, unobtrusive, and genuinely helpful in your daily workflow. No bloat, no unnecessary features—just tools that solve real problems.
Each app I build starts as something I need for myself. Battery monitoring, storage visualization, network stats—these are problems I encounter daily. If I wouldn't use it myself, I don't build it. This keeps me honest and focused on what actually matters.
When I'm not coding, I'm exploring new ideas for apps that solve real problems. I share my development journey on this blog, hoping to help other indie developers navigate the process of building and shipping their own apps.
Philosophy
I'm inspired by the Unix philosophy: do one thing and do it well. The best tools are often the simplest ones. They don't try to solve every problem or anticipate every need. They focus on a specific task and excel at it.
This approach influences everything I build. Small file sizes, fast launch times, minimal memory usage. I want my apps to feel like a natural extension of macOS, not a burden on your system.
