Indie developer 14 apps shipped

Why I Build

Every app I ship started as something I needed myself. Battery Vitals exists because I wanted to keep an eye on my MacBook's battery health without opening a separate app. Snapsift exists because my iPhone had 15,000 photos and Apple's built-in duplicate finder wasn't catching the similar ones.

I like software that does one thing well. Small file sizes, fast launch times, minimal memory usage. My apps should feel like a natural extension of the operating system, not a burden on it.

How I Work

Solo operation. I do the design, development, marketing, and support. Swift and SwiftUI for native apps. Astro and Tailwind for the web. AI tools (Claude) for pair programming and research.

I ship fast and iterate based on real feedback. Most of my apps go from idea to App Store in a few weeks. Then I improve them based on what actual users need, not what I think they might need.

What I Care About

Privacy. None of my apps collect data, track usage, or phone home. Your photos, your battery stats, your network info: it all stays on your device.

Fair pricing. Most of my macOS apps are one-time purchases under $5. iOS apps are free with optional upgrades. No subscriptions for simple utilities.

Quality over quantity. I'd rather have 10 polished apps than 50 mediocre ones. Each app gets attention and updates as long as people use it.
